Held Between Glow & Grey
From where I see it, the view isn’t barricaded, for at times, this is how clarity arrives in parts. How hope rarely announces itself with its complete intention, and how life often lets you see only enough to keep looking a little longer. To keep looking a little longer for the light in between realities, responsibilities, roles, and repurcussions – nature’s way of communicating the same, by sketching coconut fonds across the sun – the fire of warmth, continuity, compassion, and wanting. There’s no conflict in this frame, coexistence is all there is. Nothing has to be cleared or altered for the light to reach you, because it is already passing through everything that has you in it. More than anything, I see this peculiar romance brewing between light and strokes of darkness in this frame – where neither feels complete without the other, where each softens and humbles the other, and how when both blend, something almost cosmic turns into art.
